About BRYR:

BRYR was founded in 2012 with the goal of creating sustainable clogs that make people feel more beautiful and comfortable. We hand-craft clogs, using supple, natural American leathers, solid wood material and natural fabrics. We deliver the highest possible quality products and share them with the world in beautiful, welcoming, and inspiring spaces. Located in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, our Brick and Mortar retail shop is our flagship store. It's a beautiful space for our customers to come try on and purchase clogs, and get to know our brand better. The Sales Associate represents our brand to the public, and like everyone who works at BRYR, they are an important member of the team. 

Sales & Customer Service Teammate

Job Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Help make our customers feel welcome and cared for while at Bryr or interacting with us via email, phone or DM
  • Guide each person towards their perfect clog in a way that is warm, knowledgeable and natural
  • Keep retail store organized, clean, and running smoothly, including merchandizing products
  • Process orders through our POS system efficiently and accurately. 
  • Keep in-stock clogs organized and receive new products
  • Meet our retail shop sales goals
  • Respond to questions on email, social, the phone and in person in a way that always prioritizes a caring relationship. 
  • Coordinate with the team on any returns, remakes or rush orders
  • Liaison with customers in the event of any delays or issues
  • Coordinate rush and VIP orders
  • Organize events, such as in-person pops ups and loyalty events
  • Assist with product photoshoots
  • Contribute to the overall business culture using our Culture guide as a tool for self-reflection. Have an ongoing commitment to self-growth, the growth in others, and the growth of the company

Qualifications

  • Be committed to your own and other’s professional growth, be excited to learn new things and willing to get and give feedback
  • Good communication skills
  • Have an aesthetic eye 
  • Love clogs! 

Preferred Experience

  • Retail experience

Physical Demands: This position is a includes working on the retail floor and require the following physical demands:

  • Walking and standing for up to 8 hour
  • Ability to see detail in objects
  • Lifting up to 20 lbs

Hours:

  • 32 hours a week*
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please note weekends are required for this position. 
  • Hours 10:00-6:30 pm

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time benefits:

We offer a benefits package to all our full time employees which commences after a 60 day probation period that includes the following. We will share more in-depth information regarding the benefits package during the interview process: 

  • Starting rate for this teammate position is $26 per hour paid bi-monthly
  • Sick hours accrued as per SF mandate.
  • 10 company holidays, including one floating holiday
  • Quarterly clog allowance and Friends & Family discount
  • Paid training as needed
  • We share a transparent path to growth within the company, including pay grid range information
  • Health, Dental and Vision benefits; company covers 60% of the premium and 40% of dependent coverage
  • Employee 401K profit sharing; company matches 100% of employee contributions up to the first 3% of pay and then 50% of employee contributions on the next 2% of pay
  • Life insurance and vision benefits; company covers 100% of the premium 
  • Employee accrued vacation pay, starting at 80 hours for 1st year and increasing to 120 hours on 2nd anniversary
